Welcome to DriveTheoryBC. ("we," "us," "our"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website and any courses, materials, or services purchased through it. By using this site or purchasing a course, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Who We Are
DriveTheoryBC is an independent, self-paced knowledge test preparation and tutoring service based in British Columbia, Canada. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC). Our courses are built to reflect the format and content of ICBC's official manuals and knowledge tests, but they are independently produced study materials.

2. No Guarantee of Results
DriveTheoryBC provides study and test-preparation resources only. We do not guarantee that any user will pass their ICBC knowledge test, obtain a driver's license, or achieve any specific outcome. Your results depend on factors outside our control, including your own preparation, effort, and performance on test day. Completion of any course on this platform does not constitute official driver training, certification, or licensing, and does not entitle you to a driver's license or any legal driving privilege.

3. Purchases and Payment
All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated. Payment is processed securely through our third-party payment provider at the time of purchase. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

4. Refund Policy
All sales are final. Because our courses provide immediate digital access to all materials upon purchase, we do not offer refunds once a purchase is completed. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing your course, please contact us at drivetheorybc@gmail.com and we will work to resolve it.

5. Access to Courses
Upon purchase, you will receive access to your course for the access period stated on the course page (currently 6 months from the date of enrollment). Access is for your personal, individual use only and may not be shared, resold, or transferred to another person.

6. Intellectual Property
All content on this website and within our courses — including but not limited to text, questions, explanations, videos, graphics, and branding — is the property of DriveTheoryBC. and is protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or resell any course content without our prior written permission.

7. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DriveTheoryBC. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or our courses, including but not limited to failure to pass a knowledge test, delays in obtaining a license, or reliance on course content in place of official ICBC materials.

9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the website or our courses after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
